If you are looking for pricing, you will find that you will get a wide range of numbers! That is because each file we look at is diverse.  There are many things that come into play when pricing a client’s files.

These are some items we look at include:

Your books

You, the Owner

  • Number of transactions that come through the bank/credit card statements
  • How much “paper” there is to handle?
  • Do we do it “cash based” or “accrual based”?
  • Does the client put through personal purchases?
  • Are they organized?
  • Will we get the papers sorted or unsorted?
  • Is this a specialty business?
  • Do they need payroll?
  • Do they need GST returns?
  • Is the owner involved?
  • Does he/she want to do part of the work?
  • How will they use the reports?
  • Is a bank involved?
  • What expectations do they have?
  • Are they busy and need someone to have their back?
  • Do they want it done detailed? Or just get the job done quickly?
  • How do they define a “bookkeeper”?
  • What level of detail do they need?
  • What are their priorities?

As you can see, the answers to these questions are unique to you.  And therefore, your price should be unique as well.  Therefore, we do not publish exact rates on our website.

To figure out how many transactions you have, count the transactions on all your bank or credit card statements.
